Summer

Our eyes crossed courses, and navigated from surprise to a dare— Hers—blue, green, yellow— tearing up the seams of my gut, invitingly rocking my explorer ship to pieces so violently that the keeper of time stumbled over a beat and spilled Summer all over us.
